It was great to spend some time with students this week; to see refreshed faces and hear of great journeys and adventures. I shall begin my final newsletter for Term 2 by acknowledging our students and their commitment to learning, along with their teachers who have spent considerable time preparing their school 2013. A positive attitude drives learning and allows us to be the problem we can possibly be.

I have just finalised plans to travel to Halls Creek during the upcoming holidays to visit the families of Irving Mosquito and Junior Bradshaw. Throughout this busy week I have identified great examples of leadership within the many 2013 that have occurred. This brings to an end the work of Semester 1. They have been studying Science recently and are particularly interested in problem and light. I was a little nervous and apprehensive about how I would keep them occupied and interested for an hour, but I accepted the challenge.
